Nydia is an attorney at law with extensive experience in advising and litigating before the state courts. As a result hereof, Nydia has extensive knowledge of the civil litigation practice.
Nydia deals with tenancy law, real estate matters and (professional)liability, such as advising about leasing of office space, obtaining commercial property subject to a long lease, acquisition of commercial property, sale and lease back of commercial property and disputes under a lease. Her Dutch and international clients are lessors and lessees of business premises, real instate investors, property managers, oil companies, and other companies, amongst others in the port area of Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
Nydia graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2011 and joined Ploum after her graduation. During her study, she has obtained the ‘Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom (KDS)’. Nydia has been a board member of the Association of Young Real Estate Lawyers (Vereniging van Jonge Onroerend goed Juristen) for four years. Furthermore, she has completed the specialist course on real estate law ‘Grotius Onroerend Goedrecht’ in June 2018.
Nydia has registered the following principal legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

Based on this registration, Nydia is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
