Anton Avedissian

Specialisation

Anton works as a lawyer in the Employment Law section. He deals with employment law in a broad sense. Anton has extensive experience in advising and litigating on individual and collective dismissals, (amendments to) individual and collective terms and conditions of employment and disability. Anton also has a keen interest in employee participation issues.

Background

Anton completed the master's degree in Employment Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2016. During his studies, Anton completed an internship at a Rotterdam law firm and worked at the Rotterdam District Court as an external court clerk.

In 2016, Anton joined a Frisian law firm as a legal assistant, specializing entirely in Labor Law. From 2017, Anton worked there as a lawyer until he returned to his hometown Rotterdam and joined Ploum in 2023.

Anton also worked for six months on a secondment basis at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences as an in-house Labor Lawyer.

Anton Avedissian has registered the following main (and sub) areas of law in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Dutch Bar Association:

- Labor law

Pursuant to this registration, Anton Avedissian is required to obtain ten training credits in each registered principal area of law each calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.

Anton Avedissian has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar's register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):
