Bo is an attorney at law in the employment law department. He specialises in employment law in the broadest sense. Bo advises and litigates in individual and collective dismissal cases, co-determination, (collective) employment conditions and non-competition clauses. Bo has a special interest in disability issues. He assists employers, large and small and in various sectors, as well as employees.
Bo has a pragmatic approach and prefers short lines of communication.
Bo obtained his Master’s degree in Employment Law in 2014 and his Master’s degree in Civil Law in 2015, both at the Erasmus School of Law in Rotterdam. During his time as a student, Bo has interned at several Rotterdam law firms. Bo has been employed by Ploum since September 2015, solely focusing on employment law. In 2020, Bo has finished the post-academic education for employment law PALA.
Bo is a member of the Vereniging van Rotterdamse Arbeidsrecht Advocaten (VRAA) and the Vereniging Arbeidsrecht Advocaten Nederland (VAAN).

Based on this registration, Bo Leeuwestein is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
