Brigitte joined Ploum as a Professional Support Lawyer in October 2013 and focuses on the fields of administrative procedures, spatial planning and environmental law, including the Environmental Permitting (General Provisions) Act, Environmental Management Act, natural environment and ecology, licensing procedures and enforcement.

Background

Brigitte graduated cum laude from the Erasmus University Rotterdam in August 2013, majoring in Constitutional and Administrative law.  During her studies she fulfilled several legal positions and has completed several internships for the government as well as in the legal profession. For instance did she work as a legal advisor at the municipality of Rotterdam. In 2013 she won the prestigious VAR-moot court.

Brigitte Ebben has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

  • Administrative law (bestuursrecht); and
  • Environmental law (omgevingsrecht).

Based on this registration, Brigitte Ebben is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
