Ploum has assisted IDH Farmfit Fund B.V. (IDH Farmfit Fund) in the financing of KOA Switzerland AG and KOA Ghana Limited (KOA), a producer of cocoa products, including cocoa fruit juice, in Ghana.
The IDH Farmfit Fund is the world's largest ever public-private impact fund for small-scale farmers. The fund's innovative financing model makes investments in small-scale farmers attractive, it reduces the risks for investments in small-scale agriculture and contributes to a sustainable impact by lowering the risks and costs for both farmers and investors.
The team at Ploum consisted of Lucas Lustermans (partner Banking & Finance) and Joost Kool (lawyer Banking & Finance).
